Step Three: Student completes new student orientation, offered the last Tuesday of the month from 5-8 PM.

When: Students can be admitted to the program anytime during the year, but students should plan ahead to attend orientation.

Where: Admission meetings will take place on Google Meets.  Orientation will be in the Twilight Room (Mr. Winch’s classroom) at New Urban.  Students will complete courses online at home, but they can also work in the Twilight Room in the evening from 4 – 8 PM (Monday – Friday).

Who: Students residing in the North Clackamas School District boundaries who are 20 or under and require 6 or less credits to graduate.

Twilight can help with both retention of current students and recruitment of students who have dropped out.  Many seniors attend Twilight because they have no other realistic options.  If they have options, they should usually select the option that offers the best chance for completing graduation requirements this school year, and seniors considering Twilight should consider this: Most students complete one 0.5 course each month (and some highly motivated students complete two).  We welcome all students with open arms, but we want students to select the option that best fits their needs and situations.

Twilight is a safe place for all students, and the program prioritizes historically marginalized populations.
